⚒ CIPHER FORGE

Forge & Decode Secret Messages

Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

CipherForge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Everything stays on your device:

CipherForge uses Apple's UserDefaults API solely to persist your message history and custom cipher modes between app launches. This data never leaves your device.

Camera Usage

CipherForge requests access to your camera only when you choose to scan a QR code to import a cipher mode shared by a friend. The camera is used in real time to read the QR code only — no images, video, or any visual data are stored, transmitted, or shared in any way. You can always choose to enter the share code manually instead.

Children's Privacy

CipherForge is designed to be fun and safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it is inherently safe for children to use.

If you are a parent or guardian and have questions about your child's use of this app, please contact us at the address below.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Since the app collects no data, any future changes are unlikely to affect your privacy.
